ABOUT US

My name is ІIrina Korostyakova. I am a breeder and owner of the West Highland White Terrier GROUND JOY kennel.
In 2022, our kennel will be 8 years old.
God created humans and created dogs! A dog serves people, loves and forgives everything. And when a person responds to a dog also with devotion, love and kindness, the world, I'm sure, gets better.

I can't imagine my life without dogs. And when I bought my first Westie, my life gained its Territory of Joy. Here they are around me, my mischievous, cheerful, tender and energetic Westies! They understand me half-heartedly. And if they do not agree with me and try to do things their own way, then I will find a way and approach to them, and teach to do everything right. And I will definitely forgive them for their mischiefs. Look at them and you will understand me.

HOW DID IT ALL BEGIN?

My first West Highland White Terrier Jasmine la Moore breed from Slobozhanshchina appeared 10 years ago. I fell in love with this breed from photos, stories and descriptions, and my Jasmine made me love this breed even more. How beautiful and tender she was: gentle, kind, compliant!

So Jasmine has started everything. And then Olaf Milagros Del Corazon came to our family. A beautiful and incredibly charismatic dog. And I fell in love with this breed permanently and forever.

So.... There is no such thing as too many Westies! A year later we got Maggie - BLANCHE MAGIE MILAGROS DEL CORAZON. A wonderful representative of this breed! Now in our family there is already a promising generation of my breeding. I’m very proud of this. And I look forward to the further development.

WHY WEST TERRIER?

For us, the answer is obvious - you can’t find a more family friendly, mischievous, affectionate and smart dog.

And in combination with its compact size, beautiful white coat that does not fade and has no smell - this is the perfect choice for a companion and family member.

For our family, our kennel is a professional hobby.

I had to learn a lot, a lot came with work and experiences.

Now we know a lot: trimming, show grooming, handling in the ring, knowledge of the features of care and feeding to maintain the health of your pets, preparation for litters and, finally, the long-awaited offspring.

OUR LIFE WITH WESTIES

Thanks to our dogs, our lives are filled not only with our usual work, weekdays and just weekends.

But also is full with bright colors of life with beautiful and cheerful dogs, trips to shows in different cities and countries, communication with the same enthusiastic people.

Joyful moments of communication with the owners of our puppies. And sometimes we are happy to hear words of gratitude as a reward for our enthusiastic work: "Thank you for our Zeus, Senya, Archik, Shanti, Nyusha…"
